Yahoo directory

Hi - thanks for that.

When I go to the Yahoo Directory and type in my domain name I get 1 result for my domain name. It is in the correct category but the description is wrong - so I have gone through the process of submitting an updated description. Is there any way I can get all pages of my site listed in the Yahoo Directory - or do I have to pay for each one?

I am afraid they only accept the homepage (your domain name actually)

You can get other sections of your site listed in the yahoo directory, but you have to pay again, or you can change your existing listing to an internal page. If you have a site that sells coffee mugs and you submit your home page (as you would do) its a commercial site so you have to pay. If on the other hand you have a very informative useful section on how mugs are made that is educational or useful etc you can submit that page under a non commercial section and Yahoo may deem it as useful and allow you to submit for FREE.

I think you have to pay for your site to get approved. As long as its doesn't contain anything inappropriate they will approve it. Its one of the best directories to get your site listed to.

Are you sure that happens? I haven't heard this before coz there are two options of site submission in Yahoo-one a paid option for commercial site and the other free for non-commercial sites. If you are paying to get included under the business sites and then again using the free listing option to get listed for an inner informative page,isn't that a dichotomy???
