Yahoo WebRank - How much do you care?

I was visiting DigitalPoint and got this tool:

for checking Yahoo WebRank.

Do you really care for Yahoo WebRank or heard of it before?

I don't really care about how Yahoo ranks my site as long as they crawl and index it. Comparing to Google, Yahoo has less of a reputation in measuring the relative importance of one website compared to the others, which is what Google's Page Rank (PR) is all about.

So, no. Google's rank is much more important to me at this point.

I don't think it's really important. Like probably the rest of the world I feel that Google is more important. So yeah, Yahoo doesn't really ring my bell.

I couldn't care less. Yahoo WebRank is useless and barely anybody uses it. I think Google pagerank is all that matters. Also Alexa Page rank is something to worry about as well.

I think they have stopped working on web rank already. Alexa is not very reliable, it does not track users that have Linux or Windows Vista as OS

I agree on both points. As far as I know this web ranking project of theirs has been discontinued by Yahoo. And Alexa's reliability to track accurately leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm not sure about the non-tracking of Linux or Vista users. But if it were true, why is this the case?

I'd never even heard of Yahoo Webrank until I came into this thread, so no, I probably don't care about it. Is that like Pagerank or Alexa rank?

I suppose it is like Pagerank but looks like obsolete now.

Yes, It is just a copy of pagerank that nobody cares about at all. It is a useless service, As it doesn't work very well.

Is there any benefit to having a high webrank over a low webrank or is it all the same? I'm very curious about this having never seen or heard about this until the other day.

Yahoo page rank ? what's that ?

I don't care for it, because it's not popular. Everyone on internet is just crazy about Google PR and I guess yahoo's PR is not that important as well.

Yahoo used to have a " Web Rank " but not sure does it exist now ? anyway IMO even Google PR will get vanish same way as webrank.

I have to disagree with everyone here. I do not think page rank is important at all as long as you on the first couple of pages of a search topic for your keywords that is all that is important. There are other means of driving traffic to a website besides searches. Which are not being done in the same manner as they once were.
