You could try Photoshop or Flash. If you're looking for just banner makers, theres http://www.bannerbreak.com/

There are several software and tools for this purpose bit I shall say that you should select carefully. Whatever you will choose, it would need a lot of concentration so you should choose broad vision tool like Adobe Photoshop.

I am using Photoshop to make banners and I find it pretty good! You should definitely try it if you haven't yet. Use Zymic to learn how to make banners because they have a great tutorial there for you.

Photoshop, GIMP, FLASH, SWISH and the rest are tools for making a good banner. But if you are looking for an easy to use application for creating banners, I suggest BannerMakerPro. You can use this application as it has a trial period before you decide to acquire a licensed copy.

I use Adobe Photoshop, but it is expensive if you aren't into Pirating.

If you are on a budget I would go for GIMP, its a great alternative, almost everything that Photoshop has, but just not everything...

Gimps website - http://www.gimp.org/

This would have to be either Photoshop (combined with Imageready if you want animation) or for smooth great animated banners use flash! A great alternative for learners would be Jasc Animation Shop and Jasc Paint Shop Pro. If you want something free, The Gimp.

If you know nothing about design or photoshop or anything like that, you could try free online banner makers. Take a look at Banner Break up ahead. You could also try these:

http://www.3dtextmaker.com/

Good luck!

I would say photoshop, corel suite, or flash are all good for making banners. All three are capable of making 468*60 banners and 720*90 skyscrapers. These three are far better than specialized banner-making programs.

banners r mainly made in Photoshop n flash but if u want some type of trial how the banners look like or want some already made banners then u should go for some web site design company . they will tell u thoroughly abt everything wht u want.

Photoshop is great for banners, or if you have trouble using it you may want to just find a company willing to make one for a reasonable price

I like BannermakerPro. It has a trial version. In one day you can make your own banner and buttons. This is one of my favorite applications because it is easy to use.

Depending on the type of banner you want to make or what you want to accomplish with your banner there are number of things you can use. I pretty much only use Flash or Adobe Photoshop as they are both great pieces of software and can do a lot of things.
