looking for the best host!

So, despite all of the reviews, i'm still not sure which web host to go with...
a google search for the phrase "web hosting" brings up at least 1000 sites that have pretty much the same hosting companies on it.

Thinkspore - Top web hosting - affordable hosting - cpanel hosting! has 15 or 16 different hosting companies on their site, which is a few more than most of the others.

despite the reviews that i've read and what not i'm still torn... they all offer pretty much the same thing and for pretty much the same prices, so what it comes down to has to be customer service right?

does anyone have experience with places like bluehost, anhosting, gatorhosting or any of the others listed on the site above??? i'd like first hand accounts if possible..

Hi Ive used Hosting UK, who are very good,excellent customer service but found the email slow and they are slightly more expensive. Also tried designer hosting who are ok, not bad customer service also, I currently use dataflame for a number of sites, support is very good and hosting is pretty good, although emails can time out sometimes only for a few minutes (also cheap if that's an issue). My main sites are hosted with Century Media, one man band, its lightning quick and the emails + web speed are the fastest I've used, so will be staying with them. They all offer php + mysql support, but not sure about asp.

@OP: I suppose ypu should look up ServerPoint.com. This is an american company which has bee in busines since 1998 and thuis you might not doubt in reliability. They are trusted by many people and provide very qualified support and services....

Aspnix.com has superb reputation and I have a wonderful experience with them. It is able to run a high-traffic website, database-intense applications, to make custom installations or configurations changes to the server hardware. It is stable and I have never had downtime of my website.

You'll never know which host is the best at the forum. I even think that there is no best company at all. Everything depends on your requirements: the best would be that one which corresponds your requirements more than any other...

I can say, that I think ServerPoint.com is the best, but it is only my opinion, and anyone may disagree..
