Yes but be carefull of the ICANN reg. fee and some other fees. But besides that it is very good and has many good features.

Godaddy is by far the best price for domains. You should shop around for hosting packages that fit your needs. Godaddy did recently add free, ad-supported hosting if you are on a tight budget and don't mind banners.

Well... it's ok, does the job, and is economic.

However, be self-suffcient enough to not need their customer service/tech support.

If you do, be prepared for long waits (e.g. the message said 8 minute wait for an agent, and 20 mins later I was still on hold), and it may take several phone calls to get an issue resolved.

From my expirience, they are an excellent choice for buying web domains. They are cheap, easy to use, and realiable. For hosting, they tend to be overpriced (however, they do have a new "free" hosting program where they post ads all over your page.)

If you want to be really cheap, you can use dotster.com. They offer most of the same features as godaddy.com but are a little cheapter. I have used both services and there is essentially no difference.

Good for domain names, bad for hosting. Crappy control panel, old version of php, it's a mess. Many other great hosts for the same price.

Godaddy is a excellent source for managing and buying of domain names. However when if comes to hosing you can usually get better support from mid sized companies for a few dollar diff. And trust me good support will save you money when it comes to hosting.

yes godaddy.com is a good domain registrar and a webhost i have all my domains hosted with them but i didnt used their hosting service but many other webmasters has give good remarks about them.
