Will my Blog be included in Dmoz..?

Hi all, I have created a blog and submitted it to DMOZ, I dont know it will be accepted or not. My question is whether DMOZ accept Blog??

My blog is of good travel content, so I submit it to regional travel category. I dont know it is accepted or not, but I am hoping and sharing it with you.

dmoz is a joke, don't even bother with it.
they take 2 years to update your listings and stuff.

stick with the regular search engines. or plug your blog url whenever you comment on other ppls blogs.

Being a blog will make absolutely no difference as far as a site being accepted. The main factor you control is the quality of your site. Take a look at the sites already included. Can you honestly say that your site is as good or better than the sites already listed in the category you are submitting to? If you can't then your site most likley will not be listed. There are many factors outside of your control, that are entirely internal to DMOZ, that may keep your site from being listed. After submitting all you can do is hope that it is listed.

I am sorry to say that I have to agree with mvasilache. I submitted my site many months ago to DMOZ, and guess what? Well, keep guessing, because I don't know whatever happened to it and have pretty much forgotten about it.

I've already managed to land a PR5 for my site on google, and DMOZ is still "snubbing" my site. So, you probably won't be any worse if you skip DMOZ and continue on with the other major search engines.

It has been the same for me and I have heard from other people, that it takes for really a long time or they just dont respont. This means or are their criteria so great that just noone that I know gets in or that they just dont do it any more. Dont accept new sites.
And yeah, sudt go on, work as you should, write your own content and you will get a good site, no matter what DMOZ say.

DMOZ is not of much use any more. They take too long to respond and accept or reject a web page or blog. By that time you can get your site up on google through good seo.
