Submitt to the major directories and have your sites indexed last

We've been told to submit to the major directories, right? Like DMOZ, Google, and Yahoo? This will help our site get indexed, if we can wait for a month or 2.

In order for them to get indexed faster, don't submit them to the major directories. Look instead for directories with PR3 and above. The bots will follow the link to your site as they index the pages and get yours indexed too.
