Cool What directory script do you use?

I was wondering what directory system everyone here used? What do they like / don't like? Is it a custom one?

I want to start building a directory but I don't know where to start and such.

The most popular script, and also the one I use, is phpLD. I chose this one because it has by far the widest support of any.

phpLD is a pretty good script, if you are jsut starting out that would probably be the easiest one for you to use

I use PHPLD for my directory script, it does exactly what I needed. I don't know of any others that are just as good.

Yeah... You'll notice that most people will say phpld. It's one of the best. I'm actually in the process of uploading phpld now to one of my sites.

There are many free and paid directory scripts available on internet. Phplinkdirectory is the best and available in free and paid versions. Paid script contains more funtionality than the free one.

But there are so many directories uses this script, and have similar layout, structure which may cause some users to prefer some unique looking, better directories.

You can check for latest , unique scripts on sourcforge.net
