I want a FREE website without any "myname.serverhost.com" or "serverhost.com/myname" I want a "myname.com" so don't tell me freewebs or piczo or geocities. It would be best if I could get a domain without ads but I guess ads are okay since you can't always get exactly what you want in life.
Why not just PAY? GoDaddy.com sometimes have sales that lets you register domains as cheap as $5.99 per domain/year. That's like ONE Big Mac combo meal.
You cannot get a .com domain name for free, unless you have a really generous friend who buys one for you. www.tk domain names are free, however, but your web site has to be hosted somewhere else. The domain name will only direct the user to your web site. So, if you have a web site on Geocities, you can set up http://yoursite.tk to redirect to your Geocities web site. Does that make sense?
The only way to get a free dot com is usualy to buy like a years worth of web hosting - then they throw in the domain for free -- so just cough up the 10 or so bucks to register your own domain name. Most nowadays comes with alot of free stuff, like sitebuilders, blogs and email - I use www.ewebsitesolutions.com...but there are lots others.

You can use officelive.com for a free .com domain but it comes with a website so yo will not be able to use your current blog.
I'm sorry to inform you but the only way to get this is by office live, and that doesn't allow you to own full control. Try www.dot.tk for a free .tk tld. It's alright but you don't get DNS control.

Nothing is got for free in this world, but your words means that you can work instead of paying, there are no of sites giving you a free domain for using their forums, an excellent example is ddboard.com, You should get points in that and then you can register for a domain there itself !
