- market your site
- SEO optimization: such as what is your main targeted keyword you want to be found with when searched in seach engines such as google; remember don't choose a broad or very general keyword since competition is very heavy and you won't have a chance

you have to know first the basic of SEO, to have PR you have to build backlinks of your site and to have traffic you can use social bookmarking, social networking and social media optimization.

I would prescribe the following for achieving the objective:
1. Have fresh and unique content
2. Update/Add content regularly
3. Directory submission
4. Article submission
5. Comments on ranked blogs and articles
6. Forum posting
7. Link exchange
8. Use Social networking and bookmarking sites
9. SEO
(not necessarily in this order though.......I listed them as they came to my mind .....)
