Hey everybody,
I've read a couple of ""SEO Books"", and though I've picked up some good pointers, what I'm looking for is a more conclusive manual of Search Engine Optimization.
Does such a thing exist, or do I just need to learn on my own?

First You can read old topics of this forum and after that You need to read SEOBook and seochat's all the SEO Techniques.

I am sure, You will learn lots of SEO Techniques.

Yes, it exist, you can do it yourself, but you have to read wide in other to understand the techniques and to achieve the result within a shortest period of time. You can also employ the service of specialist to do it for you.

I suggest you have to combine all what you read in forums and articles then you have to apply it on your own and that's the time you have to eliminate those are not effective techniques.
