How do we find a right keyword Through Google keyword suggestion tool?
Google Webmaster Tools track the search query of website that in which keyword your site displays results. It also notices the outbound and inbound links of your site referring. When you building the links of your site make sure that anchors must be your targeted keywords so that Google can understand that about your site services.

is it the data that shows where you rank for particular keywords along with the search volume for those keywords? If not, can you please share some more details?

Hi guys

As i understand - "Google keyword suggestion tool" is the adwords.google tool that can give us information about the search volume of the keywords in general .
The Analytics tool is showing the traffic coming to the site through each keyword and the webmaster tool gives the performance on the SERP's for each query.

I use google analytics to find the right keyword and niche before building my website.

You can track which keyword brings traffic to your site by using google webmaster tool.

well using automated tools are also a good alternative...

but It's better if you're not lazy enough to check it manually :P

I also prefer to check the improvement of my keywords manually. there are some automated tools that are just not accurate and some have delay results which can be frustrating sometimes.

When we started in SEO we used these tools and one of the keyword phrases that came up all the time was Organic SEO. So we optimized for Organic SEO, after all its what we provide so it made sense.

After 60 and 90 days we reviewed are web stats and found even though we ranked #1 for "organic SEO Tucson' but no one had used this search to find our site. So I dumped organic SEO and went with local SEO Tucson.

What I discovered is that small business owner, our core market had never heard of organic SEO. In fact most of them have never even heard of SEO. It was then that I realized that organic SEO was more industry speak than anything else.

From that day forward we swore off automated tools and now all we use is good old fashioned research.

Google analytics combined with manual research will help you target the proper and effective keywords. I also don't have faith on automated tools as their reliability is often dubious.
