Hey dude try out dogpil and chacha. They are really good and doing well at the early stage of their presence. They have got a good potential to become a good search engine.

I know there is other SE, but I have used any other ones apart from the three you mention above.

Tybit:Unified Search

Hi
Have you heard of tyBit ???. Tybit is highly recommended since it offers wide and extensive search and helps to minimize the time required to find information.its freeware and can be dowloaded from www.tybit.com.
Tybit provides services for searching web pages, images, news websites, videos, music... more efficiently than other search engines
It can search results according to location.
You can also post advertisements in tybit by becoming a partner of the application. Its a good tool for adverisement use as it avoids PPC frauds.

Freddy

DogPile is a meta search engine, which means it gets it's results from lots of other search engines, including the big 3 and Ask.

Ask is an interesting one. Some people think it's got a real chance against the big 3. Nice clean interface like Google.

Ice Rocket is nice and different.

Alta vista, Northern Light, are the two I choose to use when I am not using the main ones. The smaller ones seem to have truer results.

For me if I'm tired of searching from Google and Yahoo I go for Dog pile, Excite, and Web crawler. These search engines satisfied me for quite some time now.

I used to use DogPile and Northern Light as my preferred search engines before Google. I've started using it on occasion recently as well. Because it draws from lots of search engines it can give more balanced results than Google I think. I really loved Northern Light.

One thing that's driving me nuts about Google at the moment is that it keeps redirecting me to my local Google - it's a pain when I'm trying to check out my competition in the USA SERPs.

I disagree, but it's your life. Do what you want….each of us has the right to go about how we feel.
