how to delete list of already searched items from search box of any search engine(google,yahoo,encarta,etc)?

delete your history files.

Just click on the space in a search engine where u type and the list of typed olden stuff pops out , then immediately press the delete button in the keyboard.

In Firefox, go to the Tools menu > Clear Private Data and check "Saved form and search history" and click "Clear private data now".

In IE 7, go to Tools > Delete browsing history > Form data.
