Messenger service

Are msn messenger services are inbuilt in package? I think we have to download it separately. But is it worth to download it rather than yahoo?

There really isn't a difference between Yahoo or MSN's messenger service. They both accomplish the same thing in the end.

i use all 3 of the messengers that is google , yahoo and msn , every thing depends on what your work is , if you met lots of people then you should have all 3 , if its only for your back office and a few people then have 1 only cause it slows the pc .

To have all the three things is essential. If our contacts are more than normal links, then it is better to switch over to all the three. It is worth to download all the three searchers . It is not too bad to have MSn for our small needs.

I think yahoo messenger is far more better in terms of features that are offered. Because they offer us rich and pleasant atmosphere with special features like imvironment. So yahoo is better than its compatriot in messenger services.

How about trillian ? You can have ICQ, MSN and yahoo on at the same time. I just downloaded it. Pretty good .

MSN is the best because it has the most features of all of the others. I like the new beta, It looks so cool, New age and vista-ish.

I've been using that for a while, it's a fantastic application.

Otherwise I'll stick with Windows Live Messenger.

I use MSN, Yahoo, and AOL since they tend to be some of the biggest messengers used in the US. AOL on top of all of them is the one you can always find me on since it does state for itself... "America ON Line."

well instead of using all 3... you should use trilliant... that allows you to login to all at the same time. anyway, my opinion is that Yahoo Messenger is best messenger-based software ... i really like those emoticons, audibles... environments. they've got dozen of cool features.

I use them all separately because they have more features than what Trillian has to offer. As I use MSN for business work, AOL for my email, browsing, and IM then Yahoo just as a regular client.

I don't like the MSN Program, but the Protocol is OK.

I use lots of Protocols at once using GAIM.

Yea, the easiest thing to use is use the MSN protocol that is installed on your Windows computer and if you don't have Windows then you could either install it manually or install another one like GAIM that was mentioned.

Google talk is the best of them all. The application is very lite weight. It is only 4MB or so. Yahoo has a webmessenger where you need not down load it. It runs on the browser. That is way better than MSN messenger.

messengers

Actually I have all 3 messengers and use all of them just because i have quite a few contacts on each of them. So it really depends. If you have many friends using several messengers, then you probably need to have all of them on your PC.
