Best Blog Money Maker?

I have had a sports blog up and running for about almost 2 months now and I haven't really made any money. Does anyone know how I can change this without using Adsense?

First of all, you should get yourself a real domain name. If you promote your blogspot url and want to switch to a new host you will have a problem.
To make some money with my blog, I sell "post sponsorships", where people pay $xx and I will add their permanent link to one of my blogposts.
Hope that helps

Why can't you use Adsense? Try some other PPC programs like Bidvertiser or something... You can also start building links and get a high PR because you can then sell blog posts.

I would reccommend adsense but if you don't want to use it you could sell links if your blog has pagerank, you could put Commission Junction if there something related to your blog, or you could try a PPC network other than Adsense

I agree with the others that you should give AdSense a chance, if you could. One of the sites I manage is on Blogger (blogspot.com) and incidentally is sports related (pro basketball player). It's my best AdSense earner so far. But if you can't use AdSense -- and I wonder why not -- try selling links off of your sidebar or in between posts using TextLink Ads.

Good luck!

You could try CPM programs like ValueClick, link ads like Text-Link-Ads, or non-obtrusive, CPC ads like Kontera. Alternatively, you could try plugging some sports-related affiliate programs on your blog. Good luck!

if you don't want to use adsense the best alternate is adbrite. You could try widgetbucks and so if you make any money with them

You have to improve your content. Adsense or any other PPC will not yield revenue for you if you don't have a good traffic. I suggest you focus on making good contents and promoting your sites.

You could try searching for affiliate programs for satellite TV. It's pretty big, especially among sport fans. Pays really well too from what I hear. Then use button advertising on your blog for it. Maybe write up ablog post on it as well.

Great photos on your site! Where do you get something like that copyright free?

I think getting your own domain, even if you just do a cloaked redirect to your blog, would be a really good idea. Domain names are so inexpensive right now, no excuse not to.
