How diid my site get indexed so fast?

I started another site and published it. It was indexed within 3 days with a number 3 ranking. I did no marketing or link building yet.

How is this possible? Cool but I am confused. My previous site took 3 weeks.

If possible, try to go over free site submission services and submit your site as much as possible.
Sitemap, Pinging, Assigning keywords to article, keeping the article title keyword studied are keys to success.

or maybe the articles on your blogs are quality content that people found it interesting..

it wasnt totally indexed yet, your site is in under observation, or what we call it google sand box... if google will notice that your site is gaining backlinks then they will rank you with searches, but if you dis regard your site then they will consider your site that is not active.

perhaps your website created in web2.0, websites like this is seo friendly and maybe the content of your site are very interesting, informative and effective so other site owners link bait your site to them especially those sites that are regularly visited by robots like Forums and Social Bookmarkings.
