My avg anti-virus found a virus called java/byte verify?

and it won't take it out, it won't heal it or delete it. Can anyone help me I have no idea how to get rid of it? Is anyone else having the same problem? Thanks for any help you can give me!!
Thanks Jolly, I appreciate it, I just read the thread you sent me. I was really worried about it, it said it was in my son's documents and I was getting mad at him because I didn't know what he did.

Don't worry about it. It's generally regarded as a "false positive" by anti-virus programs. Next time the virus indication comes up, choose whatever option is available to "ignore" it. See below link for more info.

Yes Jolly is correct. However it maybe infected and may pose a threat to your computer. I suggest (although I trust AVG's judgement 10000%) that you get another anti-virus program and run a search. If it finds the same file, it is most likely infected, and i suggest that you delete it manually. Once it is gone, Java may not work properly, so just go and unistall it, then re-download, and install it again!
