Firefox Problem

Hallo,
I often use Firefox, a great browser, and sometimes go to Tools - Options - Security - saved password to read and erase the passwords for the sites that I visit.
Do you know if there is a way to shorten this path, maybe insert something in the toolbar to speed up this task?
Thank you

I don't there's a tool for that task, usually when you enter password on a site, there's a notification asking if you want to save the password for that site, simply always choose "no".

I don't think such a tool exists. Just click on "No" whenever the password pop-up appears.

speed Firefox up

Here's something for broadband people that will really speed Firefox up:

1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

Yea, dont save your passwords to start with. If your just going to erase them later, do not save them to start with.

I dont understand why your saving your passwords to start with, if your just gonna erase them later.

I think there is some problem in your browser. You need to download the latest version of firefox and install it in your pc. I hope you 'll find the solution of your problem. Or there is an indication of virus. You need to have a good antivirus and i think NOD32 is the best antivirus. you need to go for it.

Maybe you should try add-ons for this service, especially if you accidentally erased all your cached or need to delete them often.

Reinstalling Firefox will surely help you erase your log in info in every site that you visit, once you were done with reintalling firefox, you must be aware to click on no everytime a warning popped up regarding saving your username and password.
