| Adsense is a different program then AdWords, with different payment methods (and different payees).
With AdWords, you can set it up to be either post-pay (pay after you get the clicks), or pre-pay (you pay before you get the clicks, and then the amount for each click is deducted from your account balance).
Depending on what country you are in, you might have different payment options for the two payment types, but PayPal is never an option.
