This has got me thinking, I wonder if Google is lowering the importance of PageRank with a view to discontinuing altogether. So many people are obsessed with PageRank, and they tend to do things to raise their
PR that they otherwise wouldn't do. Things like buying links, and spamming blogs and forums. I think it was a good idea initially (on Google's part), but I wonder if it's such a good indicator of an authority or quality site still?
