Hmmm, we offer a similar service... but we spin the articles to avoid getting penalised for duplicate content, and then only put up a set number of posts per week, so it looks more natural...
If I were you, I would ask him to do this at least, if he isn't willing then forget it... not worth it.
ALSO... you should consider that on most blogs, only the home page has
PR... new posts appear on this page, and then go into archive later on... thats fine, but make sure your post will stay on the homepage for a month so you get your link juice!!! - if it only stays on for a few days, and google doesn't visit the site to crawl it in that time it has been a waste !!!
If you do go for this, you are better to go for a monthly service, it looks more natural, and so is less obviously an advert!!!
