I agree with the others that you should give AdSense a chance, if you could. One of the sites I manage is on Blogger (blogspot.com) and incidentally is sports related (pro basketball player). It's my best AdSense earner so far. But if you can't use AdSense -- and I wonder why not -- try selling links off of your sidebar or in between posts using
TextLink Ads.
