| Being a blog will make absolutely no difference as far as a site being accepted. The main factor you control is the quality of your site. Take a look at the sites already included. Can you honestly say that your site is as good or better than the sites already listed in the category you are submitting to? If you can't then your site most likley will not be listed. There are many factors outside of your control, that are entirely internal to DMOZ, that may keep your site from being listed. After submitting all you can do is hope that it is listed.
